History of Tower Memorial Spiritualist Church
In Honor of Mary Tower 5th sunday Speaker: Rev. Robin Maylor
We will be celebrating Mary Tower and her legacy at Tower Memorial Spiritualist Church this 5th Sunday (12/29)! Mary Tower continues to be the the matriarch of Tower Memorial Church. A little history: The original name of our church was First Spiritual Science of the Soul Church, founded in 1927 by Mary Tower, who joyfully carried out her duties as Pastor until she was well into her eighties. Upon her retirement in 1942, Mary Tower requested that Mary B. Crisp (nee Tice) assume leadership of the church and act as President for Life. In recognition of Mary Tower's lifelong dedication to Spiritualism, the church was renamed and is known today as Tower Memorial Spiritualist Church. The church has since then has been led and served by phenomenal women, their loved ones and members who believe In the heart and healing that Spiritualism provides to our community and the world!
