We believe* in Infinite Intelligence and the Christ Consciousness.
We believe that the phenomena of Nature, both Physical and Spiritual are the expression of Infinite Intelligence.
We affirm that a correct understanding of such expression and living in accordance therewith constitute true religion.
We affirm that the existence and personal identity of the individual continue after the change called death.
We affirm that communication with the so-called dead is, a fact, scientifically proven by the phenomena of Spiritualism.
We believe that the highest morality is contained in the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
We affirm the moral responsibility of individuals and that we make our own happiness or unhappiness as we obey or disobey Nature’s physical and spiritual laws.
We affirm that the doorway to reformation is never closed against any soul here or hereafter.
We affirm that the precepts of Prophecy and Healing are Divine attributes proven through Mediumship.
*- belief, in this context is having an awareness of, an understanding of, inner knowing of, faith in or resonance with.
Spiritualism is the Science, Philosophy and Religion of continuous life. It is based upon the demonstrated phenomena of communication with those in spirit. The Spiritualist church does not impose dogma nor creed on its members,. It is one of the few religions that is willing to ask questions and encourages others to do the same. The concept of Natural Law is central to Spiritualism. Natural laws are simple statements of the orderly working of the universe and all that is in it. They represent the constant outward expression of what we can expect to happen in any given situation.
Spiritualism is not “just’ a religion; it is a philosophy, a science and a way of life. Spiritualism is not Christianity-based, but many Spiritualists are Christians. It does not require anyone to change their view of God and has been called a “religion of conviction not conversion”.
Spiritualists believe that each and every person is responsible for his or her own happiness while on Earth. We all create our own experience. Therefore, if you live by the adage: Do unto others as you would have others do unto you, you can expect either happiness or unhappiness, depending on how you live your life, how you take care of yourself; and and how you treat others.
The belief that we are all Spirit and that Spirit is God is central to Spiritualism. Spiritualists don’t believe that members must be “saved” and Spiritualists don’t go out trying to “save” anyone. The Spiritualist viewpoint is about saving oneself and the belief that we are all responsible for our own salvation, happiness and unhappiness.
What is Tower's Spiritualist Tradition?
At Tower, we are Independent Spiritualists, with a foundation in Modern Spiritualism. We value the same Principles, hold spirit message services, mediumistic demonstrations and seance. But, we also see that the progression of Spiritualism may lie beyond just the communication with "the so- called dead". In Tower's message services we do not exclude the divine communication of spirit given through ascended masters, angels and other spirit guides that assist in the healing of humanity and its consciousness. Put simply, Spiritualism is the practice and proof that we are always connected and this connection continues to evolve.
Spiritualists receive messages from those in Spirit via a medium. Those who have developed their own mediumship often communicate with those in Spirit directly.
